This study aims to identify the impact of digital transformation on improving the quality of administrative services provided to students at the African Unity Institute. The study is conducted in light of the Institute’s adoption of an integrated electronic system designed to facilitate students’ access to various services and organize procedures related to their academic lives. The system provides a range of digital services, including requesting transcripts and official statements, accessing class schedules and examination dates, receiving alerts and notifications, monitoring financial obligations and payments, as well as completing surveys, evaluating services, and submitting complaints and suggestions. This enables students to complete and monitor a number of their needs through a single digital environment.
The study focuses on measuring the impact of these services on the quality of administrative services in terms of speed, accuracy, accessibility, ease of use, and responsiveness. It examines several dimensions of digital transformation, including electronic services, digital communication and notifications, electronic financial services, electronic participation and interaction, and the integration and accessibility of digital services.
The study adopts a descriptive-analytical approach, using a questionnaire distributed to a sample of students at the Institute. The collected data will then be analyzed using appropriate statistical methods to test the study hypotheses and measure the impact of digital transformation on the quality of administrative services. The findings are expected to help determine the effectiveness of digital transformation in developing the services provided to students and identify areas that can be improved, thereby supporting the Institute’s efforts to enhance its electronic system and improve the level of services provided to students.
