This theoretical review provides a critical analysis of quantitative and qualitative methodologies in the study of racial and gender inequality, highlighting the epistemological foundations of each. The study examines the capacity of quantitative methods to identify structural gaps and statistical patterns, contrasted with the role of qualitative methods in exploring lived experiences and the symbolic meanings of discrimination. The paper asserts that the complexity of identity and power dynamics necessitates moving beyond methodological monism toward adopting "Mixed Methods" and an "Intersectional" perspective, integrating broad structural overviews with the analytical depth of individual experience. It concludes that methodological integration is not merely a technical choice but an epistemological necessity for achieving a comprehensive and equitable understanding that supports social justice and policy development. Furthermore, it emphasizes the urgent need to enhance these pluralistic approaches within Arabic literature to keep pace with global advancements in understanding complex discriminatory mechanisms.
